The Role
We are looking for a Heavy Machinery Parts Manager to oversee operations for an active New Jersey based heavy machinery equipment and parts vendor. This is the hub role: quotes go out through you, orders come back through you, and the deliveries that keep customers' machines running get coordinated by you.
It suits someone organized and unbothered by a busy phone — comfortable talking to a contractor, a driver, and a vendor inside the same ten minutes, and precise enough to keep the paperwork straight behind it.
Responsibilities
- 01Prepare customer quotes and process sales orders
- 02Create and manage invoices and purchase orders
- 03Coordinate parts deliveries and pickups
- 04Maintain organized financial and transaction records
- 05Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, drivers and technicians
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license — required
- Experience preparing quotes, invoices and purchase orders
- Accounting or bookkeeping skills highly preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills
